Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests enjoy delicious and safe meals, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. Please note that this is a cook position not a chef.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.

Experience

Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
