All rounder and will be working on own for part of the day

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a kitchen environment, demonstrating a strong commitment to meal preparation and food safety. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards and delight our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the planning and preparation of daily specials, ensuring freshness and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor food presentation and portion sizes to maintain consistency across all dishes. Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed, sharing culinary techniques and best practices.

Experience

Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is essential. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and culinary skills is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is required to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others in the team are key attributes for success in this role.
