We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and food safety, with experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals that meet our standards of excellence while ensuring a clean and organised kitchen.

Duties

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the planning of menus, considering dietary restrictions and food preferences. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during busy periods. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar cafe setting. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
