Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, with a keen interest in creating delicious meals that delight our guests. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain an organised kitchen environment by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during busy periods. Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Contribute creative ideas for menu items and special promotions to enhance the dining experience.

Experience

Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene standards. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and cuisines is an advantage. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen team.

Pay: 12.70-13.91 per hour
