We're looking for a reliable, passionate Cook to join the team at Hawthorn Court Care Home, preparing fresh, nutritious meals that bring comfort and wellbeing to our 22 residents.

About Hawthorn Court
Located just outside Swansea, Hawthorn Court is a 22-bed residential care home supporting older adults, many of whom live with dementia or complex needs. Our team is close-knit, values-driven, and committed to creating a warm, homely environment for every resident.
Your Role
As Cook, you'll plan and prepare well-balanced, home-cooked meals to meet a variety of dietary needs, including soft diets and food allergies.
Your responsibilities include:
Preparing fresh, nutritious meals for 22 residents each day
Adapting menus to individual preferences, allergies, and special diets
Managing kitchen stock and food orders within budget
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, kitchen safety, and cleanliness
Working collaboratively with care staff to support residents' nutritional wellbeing
What We're Looking For
? Experience working as a cook in a care home, school, or similar setting
? A passion for cooking with a person-centred approach
? Ability to adapt meals and plan menus for a range of dietary needs
? Good time management and independent working skills
? Part-time hours with flexible scheduling
