Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management. Serve meals to guests, providing excellent customer service and addressing any dietary requirements or preferences. Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment. Strong culinary skills with a good understanding of various cooking techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in meal preparation. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A passion for food and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
