Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food quality and safety while providing exceptional service in a culinary environment. Your expertise in food preparation, following a specification and fine dining will be essential in delivering an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities



Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Handle food with care, following proper food handling techniques to ensure safety and quality. Collaborate with team members to execute catering events and special functions. Provide excellent service while serving meals, ensuring guest satisfaction. Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation and presentation. Participate in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.

Experience



Previous experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred. Background in fine dining or restaurant settings is advantageous. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential. Experience in catering services is a plus, along with proficiency in meal preparation. Ability to work collaboratively within a kitchen team while maintaining high standards of service. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
