To help us to continue to flourish we are now looking for a self-motivated cook.

The role is full time at 40 hours per week between the hours of 6am and 8pm, with a degree of flexibility to ensure a continued service at all times. Paid overtime will be necessary at times and after prior arrangement to cover for holidays and sickness absence.

This role will pay 12.95 per hour with any overtime paid at the same rate.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the preparation and cooking of breakfast, lunch and dinner and cater for dietary needs following a 4 week rolling menu that is counter self-service.

PLEASE NOTE - DUE TO THE LOCATION OF ST BEUNO'S YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN TRANSPORT

Main responsibilities will include:

Cooking of meals for guests, staff and residents Receive and check delivery of goods and assist in stock rotation To ensure that all food is kept securely, under the conditions suitable for it To ensure that all policies are adhered to To provide fresh, tasty and attractive food for the residents, staff and guests Catering for dietary requirements as necessary To maintain good portion control and a pleasing presentation of all dishes to main the high levels of cleanliness and health and safety that is expected in a level 5 hygiene rated establishment. Where necessary training will be given.
