Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in the planning and execution of meal preparation, including portion control and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager. Participate in menu development by providing input on seasonal dishes and specials based on available ingredients.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for cooking and meal preparation. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Weekend availability required, possibility to work alternating weekends.
