We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of meals.
Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative ideas for new dishes.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role, preferably within a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers.
An understanding of fortifying meals and specialised diets
