This role based at Ormiston Meridian Academy, sits within our Education division - catering for students. Dedicated to providing high-quality, nutritious, fresh, and sustainable food for our younger generation, we're 100% committed to supporting a healthy diet. What you'll be doing...

As a Cook at our Academy you will have plenty of responsibility and opportunity to grow in your role, becoming a critical & valued member of our team.

Assist with the preparation and delivery of up to 1200 covers per day, across a break and lunch service Ensure the food is to the highest standard Confident with taking stock takes and menu planning Ensure the kitchen and service area are always clean, well-presented, and well-stocked Offer a warm and friendly service Ensure COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety are followed

Working Pattern:

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 2:30pm, XX Hours Per Week, Term Time Only

Passion for food and customer service excellence Strong team player who can also work independently Experience in contract catering, within fast-paced, large establishments is essential Past experience within an education catering operation is desirable
