Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cook. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our kitchen operations, ensuring that high-quality meals are prepared and served to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in kitchen work who enjoys the buzz of a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service. Support the serving staff by preparing plates for service and assisting during busy periods. Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting any shortages or issues.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential, with a focus on food preparation and cooking. Culinary experience is highly desirable, particularly in a restaurant setting. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is required. Experience in meal preparation and serving will be advantageous. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential traits for success in this role.
