We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards. Assist with meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management. Ensure all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and used safely

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within a care home. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a care home setting. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. A passion for cooking and creativity in meal presentation. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
