A part time cook is required to join the team at our nursery, to provide healthy and nutritious meals for young children.
The role requires a person who has previous catering experience with knowledge and understanding of menu planning - ordering and stock control. They will be capable of preparing and cooking healthy balance meals, and to plan menus that reflect the cultural and dietary needs of individual children
The successful applicants will have the ability to manage their own time and prioritise tasks and use their own initiative and judgement to a positive effect. They will have suitable experience for the role, as well as a food/hygiene qualification, and good organisation and interpersonal skills. They will be able to maintain confidentiality as well as be reliable and flexible.
The post is subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
Job Type: Part-time 9am to 1.30 pm Monday to Friday ( these hours are approx.)
Salary: 15,275 per year
