Job Opportunity: Cookery School Assistant

Location: Waterman Cookery School, Belfast

Position: Part-Time / Full-Time (flexible availability, including evenings and weekends)

Waterman Cookery School is looking for a motivated, organised, and food-loving individual to join our team as a Cookery School Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

Support chefs during cookery classes, demonstrations, and events Set up workstations and ingredients before classes Assist students with equipment, ingredients, and instructions Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas Wash and organise equipment and utensils Help with stock management and deliveries Provide warm, professional customer service to class participants
Requirements:

A genuine interest in food, cooking, and hospitality Friendly and approachable with strong communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentReliable, punctual, and highly organised Flexible schedule--including evenings and weekends Previous kitchen experience is essential Basic food hygiene
Desirable:

experience within a cookery school setting
