Attend regular training to ensure you have the most up to date knowledge
Promote positive Management of Behaviour in the Nursery environment, establish routines and boundaries to ensure the safety and good behaviour of the children.
To be a positive role model to all staff and always conduct yourselves in an appropriate professional manner.
Hold a valid DBS and be willing or hold a Paediatric first aid certificate, Safeguarding and food hygiene.

Carrying out home visits alongside the manager/deputy manager before children start the setting, to meet the child and get to know them, and to also find the child's starting points by completing an all about me form.
