Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Assist with meal preparation and food presentation, adhering to culinary standards. Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and kitchen facilities. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service. Monitor food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when needed. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist in setting up and clearing tables, as well as restocking supplies as necessary.

Skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members. A keen interest in culinary practices, including meal preparation and food safety protocols. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
