An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Homes & Communities department managing our co-operative team. The team provides a high-quality housing service to a portfolio of co-operative properties across Birmingham and Walsall in accordance with individual Housing Management Contracts.
You will ensure a coordinated service delivery approach to identified housing management tasks associated with income management, allocations and lettings, breaches of tenancy, resident engagement and the recording of reports of repairs and maintenance jobs on the housing management system to deliver excellent customer service to residents.
You will develop a positive working relationship with all Co-operative Committees, ensuring organisational representation at formal meetings when required which may include up to six evening meetings per month.
The successful candidate will pro-actively work with colleagues across all Trident departments, in particular the Homes and Communities Department, Technical Services and Finance to support the aims and objectives of the Co-operatives and identify opportunities to further develop the co-operatives in line with their vision and values such as sourcing additional training and increasing resident engagement and community development initiatives.

About You
You will have considerable experience of working in the social housing sector.
You will be passionate about social housing and enthuisiastic for your own career development and that of your team.
It is essential that you have good communication skills and a 'can do' approach to working positively with internal and external stakeholders and forging new partnerships to address key issues and achieve agreed outcomes
You will be a strong and motivated leader, able to work under your own initiative, organising your workload to meet goals and KPIs that are set.
