The Role
This exciting role of Business Development Manager will generate high quality leasing, fleet management and salary sacrifice opportunities for corporate vehicle fleets across the UK.
This role will be either based from our Glasgow head office (hybrid working) or working remotely when regionally based, and reporting to the Fleet Sales Director. Travel to client sites will be required and an electric company car is provided.
What will I be doing
Winning new leasing & fleet management corporate clients
Identification of commercial opportunities, promotion of ancillary fleet solutions to prospective clients.
Creation of self-generated interest from prospects using database and networks, and working on marketing leads
Responsibility for quality of corporate clients
Upselling of other products to prospective clients, such as hire and salary sacrifice schemes
Liaising with key decision makers including Board Level, Finance, HR and Procurement
Creating and delivering proposals and solutions to prospective corporate clients with follow up presentation where required
Working closely with our Account Management teams
Achievement of the company business plan
What will I need to succeed
Proven experience in a Corporate sales environment, working on new business
Ideally with experience or knowledge of leasing and fleet management
Drive to deliver on prospect opportunities with tenacity and perseverance to succeed
Confidence in proposal creation, presenting, negotiating, influencing and communication skills to Board / Executive level stakeholders
High-level strategic and tactical analysis with problem solving, decision making and analytical capabilities.
Knowledge of Electric Vehicles, Tax efficiency of lease and Salary sacrifice would be highly beneficial
Ability to use Microsoft packages including word and excel and creating presentations to use with your clients
Great organisational skills, diary management, appointment arranging, ability to handle your workload effectively
