SIL Corporate Finance Team

The Finance Team are responsible for the effective financial management of the company, ensuring robust planning and control to support the company's strategic objectives.

The Finance Team are dedicated to working collaboratively to deliver high standards of financial compliance, reporting and fulfilment of all statutory responsibilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant to help shape the future of our finance function.

We are seeking a talented professional to join the Finance Team at a pivotal time of change and growth. Working closely with managers across the organisation, you will provide insightful financial analysis and support to help them achieve their objectives and key performance indicators.

The company has recently implemented a new finance system, and this role offers a unique opportunity to influence and enhance our reporting capabilities, while contributing to the continuous improvement of the financial management across the company.

Responsibilities



To provide a range of financial information to stakeholders including Senior Managers and Directors. Supplying timely and accurate information using appropriate media for communication. To assist and deputise as required for the Head of Finance to ensure that strategic and business needs and expectations are managed and met to the agreed levels. To be responsible for advising on and regulating financial information in support of the Head of Finance and budget managers. To ensure that VAT records are maintained in compliance with HMRC requirements, to enable timely preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns via the company's finance system in accordance with Making Tax Digital (MTD) and provide advice where appropriate on all VAT issues including partial exemption calculations. To review/approve monthly payroll and ensure the information is correctly reflected within the Company's financial management system.

Qualifications/Experience



A recognised professional accounting qualification (CCAB or equivalent) and membership of recognised professional CCAB (or equivalent) body. Experience of managing finances within a complex organisation. Proven experience of providing professional advice to and working with Officers on a range of operational issues. Experience of managing operational relationships with stakeholders at senior levels. Experience of financial software packages, enquiry packages and corporate accounting systems.

Pay: 51,356.00-56,673.00 per year
