We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fundraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our mission. This position requires strong relationship management skills and the ability to engage with various stakeholders, including donors, community members, and volunteers. The successful applicant will be adept at utilising software tools such as Raiser's Edge to track donations and manage relationships effectively.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute fundraising campaigns that align with organisational goals.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors through effective communication and public relations strategies.
Conduct market research to identify potential funding opportunities and develop targeted outreach strategies.
Collaborate with team members to organise fundraising events, ensuring all logistics are managed efficiently.
Provide exceptional customer service to donors, addressing inquiries and fostering positive relationships.
Monitor fundraising progress against targets and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve objectives.
Experience
Proven experience in fundraising or a related field is essential.
Strong public relations skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
Familiarity with Blackbaud or similar fundraising software is highly desirable.
Excellent relationship management skills, demonstrating an ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
Previous experience in customer service is advantageous, showcasing the ability to handle donor interactions professionally.
