Corporate Sales Manager - Field Based - 35k + bonus + travel expenses
Reporting to the Head of Sales, we are seeking an experienced entrepreneurial and driven Corporate Sales Manager to spearhead our B2B sales efforts. This pivotal role will focus on building a targeted corporate client database, increasing business accommodation bookings (60% of role), and driving usage of away day facilities, meetings and events space across our estate (40% of role).
This is a field-based role, and we need an ambitious self-starter with a strategic mindset and proven networking skills - the role focuses on maximising demand for our bedrooms and bookable spaces.
Relationship building will be key to the success of driving both new and additional business from an existing portfolio of clients, while using a reactive approach to provide exceptional service. This is a new role with lots of scope to make an impact and experience within the hotel industry is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
This role is perfect for someone commercially minded, proactive, and excited by the challenge of connecting great spaces with the right businesses.
Corporate Business Development

  • Identify, research, and develop new B2B opportunities across sectors.
  • Build and manage a comprehensive corporate database.
  • Work with the sales and marketing team to deliver an annual plan of relevant communications via emails and Linked In.
  • Proactively generate leads and convert them into long-term relationships and bookings.
  • Create tailored proposals and corporate rate agreements for regular stays and events.
Strategic Account Management
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with key corporate clients and travel bookers.
  • Maximise repeat business and upsell across meeting space, accommodation, and team event offerings.
  • Work closely with on-site teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
Meeting & Away Day Sales
  • Driving sales of our tailored Away day packages by championing our pubs with rooms and meeting spaces. Positioning them as ideal locations for team meetings and corporate away days.
  • Develop outreach strategies to attract new corporate clients.
GDS (Global Distribution System) Management
  • Oversee the setup, maintenance, and optimisation of GDS connectivity for our key sites.
  • Ensure accurate content, rate loading, and visibility across travel platforms.
  • Monitor performance and reporting to drive bookings via travel management companies and GDS channels.
Requirements
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly organised.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within hospitality, hotels, or events.
  • Strong understanding of corporate travel trends and client needs.
  • Experience with GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre/Galileo) is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating across teams.
