Overview
The Corporation Tax Senior / Manager will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of corporate tax compliance clients, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of all compliance work. The successful candidate will review corporation tax computations, address technical issues, and maintain excellent client relationships. Close collaboration with the Audit, Accounts, and Personal Tax teams is essential to deliver a cohesive and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of corporate tax compliance clients across a range of industries.
Review corporation tax computations and returns to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and filing deadlines.
Resolve technical queries and ensure work is completed in accordance with professional standards.
Liaise directly with clients to maintain strong, long-term relationships.
Work closely with Audit, Accounts, and Personal Tax teams to ensure consistency and effective communication.
Monitor compliance deadlines to ensure timely submissions and payments.
Remain up to date with developments in corporation tax legislation relevant to the client base.
Job Specification
Essential Qualifications & Experience
ATT qualified (or equivalent), with a view to or currently undertaking CTA studies; CTA qualification is advantageous.
More than two years of hands-on experience in corporation tax compliance within an accountancy practice.
Strong working knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation.
Proven experience managing a varied portfolio of clients and meeting HMRC deadlines.
Desirable Skills
Experience using IRIS software package or a similar tax compliance system.
Confidence in managing HMRC communications and resolving compliance-related queries.
Exposure to a wide variety of business structures and sectors.
