Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area and kitchen. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Handle cash transactions and manage the till with basic maths skills. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with a keen interest in food preparation. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with food safety practices to ensure high standards of hygiene. Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately. Ability to upsell products effectively, enhancing the customer experience. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members. Previous experience in a restaurant or similar environment is advantageous but not essential.
