Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their purchases, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs. Provide detailed information about products, including cooking tips and pricing. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any queries in a professional manner. Maintain an organised and clean sales counter and display areas. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction. Stay informed about new products and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.

Skills

Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service. Basic computer skills for processing transactions and managing inventory. Previous experience in retail or sales is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
