Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring a friendly atmosphere. Assist in food preparation, adhering to food safety standards and regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, kitchen, and dining space. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions with basic maths skills to ensure accuracy in payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Provide assistance to team members as needed, fostering a supportive work environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with food safety practices is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic culinary skills or knowledge of food preparation techniques are beneficial. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for customer interaction. A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment is highly valued.
