We are looking to recruit a hard-working Counterbalance/ Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse team, handling loading and unloading duties.


This role involves heavy lifting and is ideal for those with experience in a physically demanding warehouse environment.

Salary and hours:

The role is onsite in Fishponds Bristol working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 7.30am 4pm, 13 per hour.


Immediate start.

Key responsibilities:

Safely operate forklift trucks to move materials throughout yard the warehouse or production area. Load and unload materials from trucks, shelves, or storage areas using forklifts or other equipment Transport materials to designated locations within the facility Stack and store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper organisation and accessibility Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area Assist with inventory control by keeping accurate records of materials moved. Collaborate with other warehouse or production team members to ensure efficient workflow. Adhere to company policies and regulations at all times

What are we looking for?

Current counterbalance/bendi licence Previous experience in a physically demanding warehouse role Ability to lift and move heavy items safely Loading and unloading good safely Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Must be IT literate and able to operate company systems as required
