We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our Wirral office. The branch currently provides approximately 1000hrs a week care across the Wirral peninsula.
The current manager holds a dual registration for both branches and due to growth, the Wirral office needs a full time manager in its own right to manage day to day operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in domiciliary care management, and ideally hold a good relationship with the local authority and other stakeholders.
This role requires a compassionate leader who can manage staff effectively while ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. The Registered Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing care plans, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with the Care Quality Commission.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the daily operations of the branch, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.
Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to the needs of residents.
Supervise and support staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality care delivery.
Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.
Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and staff performance.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to enhance our service users' well-being.
Skills
Proven experience in domiciliary care is essential.
Working towards or completed NVQ 5 in Leadership and Management.
Strong background in domiciliary care growth and commissioning.
Experience in dementia care and learning disabilities.
Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and supervision.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation practices.
Effective communication skills to liaise with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Knowledge of medication administration protocols within a domiciliary care setting.
