We are now seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and dedicated CQC Registered Manager to lead our care operations and help shape the future of our service from the ground up. Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance Register as the manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation. Develop, implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure safe, high-quality care. Lead and maintain excellent standards in line with CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs). Prepare for and participate in CQC inspections. Conduct internal audits and quality checks, and implement improvement plans as necessary. Leadership & Team Management Recruit, supervise, and manage care staff and office-based team members. Provide regular training, appraisals, and performance management. Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive workplace culture. Ensure staffing levels meet service user needs and comply with safe practice. Care Delivery & Service Development Develop personalised care plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Ensure safe, effective, person-centred care delivery. Respond to safeguarding concerns, complaints, and incidents professionally and promptly. Develop services in line with the company's strategic goals and service user needs. Business Operations Work closely with the Director/Owner to manage budgets, rotas, and business targets. Support growth through business development, local authority tenders, and partnership building. Monitor service user satisfaction and adjust services accordingly. Maintain accurate records and reports in line with data protection and care sector standards. Essential Requirements: Registered Manager experience OR strong deputy manager/senior care coordinator experience ready to step up. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards). In-depth knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and CQC standards. Proven experience in managing domiciliary/home care or residential care services. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (if community care based). Desirable: Experience in setting up or growing new care services. Good understanding of safeguarding and mental capacity legislation. Experience liaising with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and families.
