Are you happy to roll up your sleeves and get designing creative assets across digital and print?We are looking for a hands-on Creative Designer at the branded content studio for News UK, which will cover work across all of our titles.The Team: The people that make up the team come from an array of creative backgrounds, and we are looking for you to bring your uniqueness to the team. You would be reporting to the Art Director, but also working with the rest of the design team as well as creative leads and project managers.Your role: You will work across a number of different sectors and a variety of project types at Studio, so creative flexibility with a digital focus is a must. You must be comfortable working for tech and banking giants, to lifestyle brands to even the smaller start up brands with their own signature visual style.Day to day:

  • Preparing mocks and pitch decks for a number of different sectors and project types.
Work with brand guidelines set by the Art DirectorUnderstand project briefs and liaise with internal key stakeholders and clients alike.Prepare and upload artwork for presseditorial design for both print and digitalAttributes Required
  • Possesses strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides
Agility in terms of design style and approach based on different client/project needsStrong typography, layout and technical skillsExperience in commissioning illustratorsAble to voice and present ideas and creative concepts to peers and clientsUnderstanding of the editorial workflow and production processes, including colour management and the making of print-ready filesWorks efficiently in a fast-paced environmentHave a desire to learn about digital and social publishing platforms, including videoApply along with your portfolio attached with your CV.We are News UK: One of the leading media businesses in the UK and Ireland, our newsbrands include The Times, The Sunday Times, The Sun, The Sun on Sunday and The TLS.
