We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative
Art and Creative Writing Teacher / Supervisor
to run two after-school clubs at a primary school nearWookey, Wells
. These clubs give children the opportunity to explore their imagination, storytelling, and artistic expression while building confidence and creative skills in a fun, supportive environment.The

).Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise small groups of primary-aged children in creative writing and art sessions. Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage imagination, creativity, and self-expression through words and art. Foster confidence, curiosity, and enjoyment in children's creative development. Communicate effectively with parents and school staff regarding children's progress and participation. Ensure materials, spaces, and resources are safe, organised, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
Experience working with children in schools, clubs, or educational settings. Ability to inspire and engage children in a structured yet enjoyable environment. Strong English communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff. A background in art, creative writing, teaching, or education is desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 2 per week
