. This role gives children the opportunity to develop their storytelling skills, build confidence, and express their ideas creatively in a fun and encouraging environment.
The club runs
Thursdays, 12:15pm - 1:00pm (45 minutes per week).
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a small group of primary-aged children in creative writing activities.
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate sessions that encourage imagination, storytelling, and self-expression.
Foster confidence, curiosity, and enjoyment in writing.
Communicate effectively with school staff and, where relevant, parents regarding children's participation and progress.
Ensure materials and the workspace are safe, organised, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching creative writing, literacy, or similar subjects to children in schools or club settings.
Ability to inspire and motivate children in a structured yet enjoyable way.
Strong English communication skills for working effectively with children and school staff.
A background in education, English, literature, or creative writing is desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 22.09-34.98 per hour
