Job Description

Birmingham Garage and Industrial Doors Ltd (BGID) are looking for an Office administrator to join our team. This an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and friendly company.

Job Overview:



Liaising with clients as part of ongoing credit control procedures to recover debts in a timely fashion Collaborate with the accounts payable team to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to client accounts. Prepare and send out monthly statements to clients, highlighting any overdue accounts. Provide reports on aged debtors to senior management as required. Recording all notes onto the system (Excel/Sage) regarding payment plans and account status Following through the debt collection process when required and ensuring the company stop list is updated and communicated within the business. Perform various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office Manage and maintain office supplies and inventory - First aid checks and replenishment Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department Help with general housekeeping within the office

Candidate Profile



The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be familiar with Microsoft Office products and Sage Account Software. They must enjoy a varied and dynamic workflow with each day bringing new challenges. Good telephone manner and communication skills are crucial given the nature of the job. If you are keen to work within a friendly and flexible team and think that you have the skills required, then we would love to hear from you.

Part-Time (25 - 30 hours per week) exact hours are flexible and can be discussed to work around the candidates existing school, care or social commitments.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 16,500.00-19,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
