What does the role involve?





Reporting to our Credit Control Team Leader, as a Credit Controller - Receivable Specialist, you'll support customers by understanding all debt and ledger activity. You'll build strong relationships with customers and will help them understand how debtors operate so they can optimise their working capital.



You'll join our friendly and supportiveteam who are based in Telford on a hybrid basis. Frequent travel to the office is required during the onboarding period but the expectation will be one day per month thereafter. The training will help to set you up for success and deliver an outstanding customer experience.


Some of your key duties will include:




Carrying out credit control activities; including managing outstanding debts, collecting payments and arranging payment terms for customers Proactively developing and implementing tailored strategies to ensure timely payments Building strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and team members Assisting with reporting and MI of client portfolios

What are we looking for?





You'll be a strong communicator and will be able to build good relationships externally and internally. You'll have good knowledge of Credit Control processes and systems and will be passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience.



Also, we're looking for the following:


Superb communication skills both on the telephone and written Good problem solving skills with the ability to think of creative solutions Good knowledge of MS Office Suite Exposure to relevant tools and systems (payment systems e.g. Esker and CRM systems e.g SalesForce) would be a real bonus but full training will be provided
