To provide administrative service to a busy multinational credit control team with particular emphasis on daily cash management. Administration of the sales ledger through the accurate posting of cash. Relationships with stake holders are a key element of the role including providing administrative support to the departments credit controllers, liaison with internal Customer Service and the smooth data flow between main Business Credit Team & the wider business.
KEY DUTIES:
Allocation of customer payments, ensuring completion (daily) of the sales ledger cash postings across a number of bank accounts.
Management & resolution of unallocated cash amounts to ensure individual customer account balances are up to date.
Manage the customer master files in relation to amending existing account info, to ensure database accuracy.
Administration assistance to whole Department to manage internal accounts in line with departmental processes and policy.
Daily management of Department's mail boxes.
Provide administrative & analytic support for Credit Team.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Intermediate level Excel Skills as a minimum
Fast and accurate inputting skills are paramount
An understanding of sales ledger account issues would be useful
Cash posting experience would be an advantage
Strong communicator both on the telephone and in writing
Self motivated individual who works well under pressure in a fast environment
Teamwork - a team player who can play an active role in a dynamic team
Customer focused with a drive to deliver excellent customer service
Good data entry speed
Ability to process & manage significant data volumes
