Job Description

An ambitious Duty qualified Criminal Defence Solicitor/Legal Executive is required by a multi-disciplinary firm based in Mansfield with offices also in Nottingham and Shirebrook.

The successful candidate will join a thriving Criminal Defence department which is based primarily in Mansfield but with increasing scope to work from Nottingham. The Role could be adapted to suit the right candidate so would be suitable for someone looking for full or part time work. Experience in managing your own caseload is essential.

Any successful applicant would be expected to run their own case load of Police Station, Magistrates' Court and potentially Crown Court matters. There is an internal rota for out of hour's work which would include any applicant.

The role will include:

Court work and advocacy Advising clients at the police station Identifying and developing potential client relationships Conducting own caseload in an efficient manner
We are looking for someone motivated and passionate about supporting vulnerable clients as well as having excellent client care skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-50,000.00 per year
