Phillips Solicitors is seeking an ambitious

Duty Qualified Criminal Defence Solicitor

to join our thriving Criminal Defence Department. We are a well?established, multi?disciplinary firm with offices in Mansfield, Nottingham and Shirebrook.

This role is primarily based in Mansfield, with growing opportunities to work from our Nottingham office. We are open to

full?time or part?time

arrangements for the right candidate.

About the Role

You will manage your own caseload across Police Station, Magistrates' Court and potentially Crown Court matters. The position includes participation in our internal out?of?hours rota.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a progressive, supportive practice, gaining exposure to a wide range of criminal defence work.

Managing your own caseload efficiently Court work and advocacy Advising clients at the police station Building and maintaining client relationships Providing high?quality client care, particularly to vulnerable individuals

What We're Looking For

Duty Qualified Solicitor Minimum 1 year of Post Qualification Experience Strong advocacy and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team Passion for helping vulnerable clients Commitment to high?quality legal service
