We are seeking a dedicated and professional Solicitor to join our legal team and create a Crime Department in our busy Immigration Law firm The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and representing clients in negotiations and proceedings. Duties

Provide clear and accurate legal advice to clients on various matters, including contractual, corporate, or civil law. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and pleadings. Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings when necessary. Conduct legal research to stay updated on relevant laws and regulations. Maintain organised case files and ensure compliance with all legal standards and deadlines. Liaise with clients, colleagues, and external parties to facilitate effective communication throughout cases. Assist in the development of legal strategies tailored to client needs. Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders to discuss case progress or legal options.

Qualifications

Qualified Criminal Duty Accrediated Solicitor registered with the appropriate professional body. Proven experience in negotiation within a legal context is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to analyse complex information critically and provide practical solutions. Attention to detail and high standards of professionalism are essential. Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality in all dealings.
