We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Criminal Solicitor to join a dynamic team in Doncaster. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload of criminal matters, providing expert legal advice, and representing clients in court.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Manage a varied caseload of criminal cases, including but not limited to, offences such as theft, assault, drug-related charges, and more serious indictable offences.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct initial client consultations to assess the specifics of their case, provide clear legal advice, and discuss potential strategies for defence.

\xc2\xb7 Attend court hearings, trials, and other proceedings to represent clients, ensuring their rights are upheld and presenting strong legal arguments on their behalf.

\xc2\xb7 Stay abreast of changes in criminal law, precedents, and legal developments, and apply this knowledge to inform case strategy.

\xc2\xb7 Draft and review legal documents, including witness statements, affidavits, motions, and submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Engage in negotiations with opposing parties, prosecutors, and law enforcement agencies to secure favourable outcomes for clients.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, providing regular updates on case progress, explaining legal proceedings, and managing expectations.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure all legal advice and representation complies with regulatory standards and maintain meticulous records of case activities.
