CruiseKings - Cruise Flight Reservation & Ticketing team

Due to the success of our growing business, we now wish to extend the Cruise Flight Reservation & Ticketing team.


This is a full-time position (4 days minimum) based at our Carrick St office in Ayr (hybrid/remote available dependant on experience).

Job Specifics

Creating and administering new bookings through Galileo Managing queues - Support the product support team. Offering a 'better' option to the sales agent even if it is not what is asked for. Be the expert. Proactive search for the business to generate more money on existing bookings. Queue dump's done monthly to go through bookings at 6 months and at 3 months out. Offer help to sales in using offline systems. Maintain professionalism and credibility with airlines sales representatives. Monthly reports to be run of performance by branch by airline. Look for trends and spot weaknesses and report Head of Operations. Accuracy & reliability is essential for success of this role. Financial movement report to be kept up to date. Daily tasks to be divided equally with the rest of the team.

Competencies required

3 years experience minimum of Galileo/Worldspan or alternative GDS experience preferrable, but not essential, as full system training will be given. Experience in dealing with a wide range of scheduled air enquiries & bookings. The ability to find alternative carrier/route options if the obvious or most expensive is precluded from being used. The ability to work under pressure and be able to prioritise a workload commercially and chronologically An understanding of leisure travel would be a huge asset to the successful candidate.
