Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking CSCS Labourer to join our team on-site. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various construction activities while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and contribute to the successful completion of projects.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and cleaning of construction sites, including removing debris and hazardous materials. Carry out general labouring tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required. Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely under supervision. Follow instructions from site supervisors and contribute to team efforts to meet project deadlines. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Assist tradespeople with their tasks as needed, providing support in various aspects of construction work.

Requirements

Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is essential. Previous experience in a labouring role within the construction industry is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new skills on the job. Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks safely. A good understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites is desirable.
