Why this role is important to us

The role sits within a team of five people who drive our CSR, Culture, DEI, Communications, Talent and Learning agenda for the region.

You will work closely with our Global HR team and market / regional HR business partners, to translate our global initiatives and programmes into initiatives which are relevant and impactful for our region.

Within EMEA and APAC it will be important to partner with many different stakeholders. We are structured around 8 core markets / clusters, each with very different cultures and priorities. You will work with the HRBPs and HRDs within these markets and supporting functions to deliver our culture, engagement, wellbeing and DEI objectives.

The way in which the responsibilities break down will be approximately 35% DEI / Wellbeing, 35% CSR and our Regional Listening Strategy and Workplace Ways of Working will account for the remaining 30%.

Work that matters - What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing

  • Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI). You will lead on delivering key DEI initiatives within our region. Most of these initiatives will be created by our global team to be executed locally. For example, DEI training and the launch of Iris our new ERG platform. Other initiatives will be developed specifically to meet the needs of EMEA and APAC. This includes working on increasing our Gender Diversity and bringing consistency (where appropriate) to the DEI related benefits and policies across the region. You will also a deliver a programme of events and communications to help build awareness and understanding of DEI. It will be important to build a network of ERG\xe2\x80\x99s (Employee Resource Groups) across our region. The EMAP Women In Experian network launched in Q1 and we want to grow our networks across other groups.
  • CSR. EMEA and APAC are proud to support our communities. You will be accountable for partnering with the region\xe2\x80\x99s stakeholders to meet our CSR commitments. This will include partnering with our markets and functions to ensure that our employees connect to our communities and purpose and are given opportunities to volunteer their time and skills.
  • Identifying opportunities and partners to support volunteering across the region
  • Liaising with other regions to share best practice and ideas
  • Partnering to ensure we have accurate reporting on monthly volunteering hours
  • Running campaigns and communications to engage our employees
  • Managing our Benevity platform (third part vendor)
  • You will also identify other opportunities to meet our CSR commitments including financial and product donations, events and partnerships
  • Listening Strategy Globally we run an annual (Great Place To Work) survey and quarterly Pulse Surveys. You will be accountable for running these surveys within the region, ensuring maximum responses rates. You will partner with the HRDs to interpret and communicate the results and ensure we have action plans in place to improve engagement across all our teams
  • Wellbeing
  • You will manage our regional network of Mental Health First Aiders and work closely with the central Global Team to develop and execute any mental health initiatives.
  • You will partner with our reward team to develop and communicate any Wellbeing offerings they develop as part of our overall benefit offering.
  • You will work to create a culture of Wellbeing within the region, running webinars, campaigns and communications to help educate and support our colleagues Wellbeing
  • Workplace Engagement (Hub and Flexible working)
  • Partner with our Global Team and regional stakeholders to ensure that we are supporting and enabling a flexible workplace and using this flexibility to build engagement while maintaining strong business results.
Qualifications

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to bring to the role & Experian
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills and strong attention to detail - getting it right first time Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communications skills (written and oral).
  • Great relationship building skills \xe2\x80\x93 comfortable dealing with both internal and external stakeholders. Able to partner and influence in a highly matrixed environment
  • Ability to deliver to tight timelines and under pressure \xe2\x80\x93 demonstrating a sense of urgency to deliver but able to change direction and show flexibility. Strong organization and project management experience.
  • Willing to take ownership of issues and see them through to effective resolution. Ability to demonstrate organised, pro-active and planned approach
  • Experience in working in at least one of the disciplines of DEI, Volunteering or Wellbeing
  • Preferable experience of working in a truly global environment.
