We are seeking a Culture, EVP and Well-being Principal who will be tasked with driving a holistic employee value proposition (EVP) and wellbeing strategy as well as support individual countries on their approaches, in order to help Anglo American achieve its target culture and be an attractive employer.

This exciting position will see you become part of our highly specialized People & Organisation function, who through close collaboration with corporate leadership teams develop and implement appropriate people processes and programmes, working towards a common purpose of re-imagining mining to improve people\'s lives.

Core Responsibilities (amongst others):

  • Support the Head of Culture in the delivery of the strategy related to culture.
  • Support the Head of Culture in delivery of Well-Being Strategy and lead on implementation of best practice, including e.g. physical workspaces and offices, tools to foster psychological safety etc.
  • Liaise with P&O disciplines to connect dots on EVP related principles and approaches in order to deliver and communicate an EVP proposition in line with the holistic Culture Ecosystem and with the well-being strategy.
  • Liaise with the Change Management Principle to develop effective change management plans to ensure effective implementation and the required behavior change needed.
  • Liaise with P&O LT to work on the development and delivery of the EVP in Countries and in the Group based on in-depth understanding of the team\'s objectives and through strategic relationships with the LT
  • Liaise with countries and relevant PO teams to deliver a coherent and harmonic EVP design and principles throughout the Group.
  • Actively support key role players to understand how employee culture, well-being and EVP relates to performance and business results to drive adoption of the desired culture.
Qualifications
  • Degree in a relevant discipline
  • Managing culture and employee value proposition work in a large, multinational organisation
  • Culture and wellbeing and its impact on employee engagement, strategic positioning, brand and marketing
  • Factors that need to be considered when assessing culture and EVP across cultures and geographies.
  • Behavior change principles and human change psychology.
