We're looking for a dynamic and inspiring Curriculum Lead to join our Hair & Beauty department on a full-time basis. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality education and want to make a tangible difference in student outcomes, we want to hear from you!


As a Curriculum Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Curriculum by coordinating curriculum teams, monitoring learner progress, and helping to drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning. You'll also be instrumental in managing operational staffing, maintaining high standards across the faculty.

Key Responsibilities




In this role, you will lead and coordinate curriculum teams within the department while maintaining a reduced teaching load (currently 2.0 blocks remission, subject to review). You will advise on curriculum design and unit selection, closely monitor learner progress, and actively drive improvements in student outcomes. A key part of the role involves ensuring timely and accurate award claims and exam entries, liaising with awarding bodies and external verifiers, and supporting internal verification processes. You will serve as the main link between the curriculum team and the examinations office, promote the College's values and code of conduct, and foster a positive student culture. Additionally, you'll contribute to recruitment, induction, and learner progression activities--including UCAS support--and represent the department at open days, school liaison events, and marketing initiatives.

What We're Looking For



We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate:A degree and/or relevant professional qualification Certificate in Education or Level 5 Teaching Qualification Outstanding classroom practitioner with excellent achievement rates Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills Experience working within post-16 education (including A Levels and vocational qualifications) Proficient in tracking learner data and using innovative teaching methods
