Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and versatile Fixer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and maintenance, with the ability to work with various tools and materials. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the capability to undertake a variety of tasks, from basic repairs to more complex installations. The Fixer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all aspects of our projects are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities



Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks. Work on roofing projects, ensuring structural integrity and safety. Fabricate and build structures according to specifications, including carpentry work. Interpret and work from schematics and blueprints for electrical and plumbing installations. Plumb fixtures and fittings as required, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Apply plastering techniques for finishing touches on walls and surfaces. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications



Sssts or smsts is a must

Proven experience in construction or a related field, with a strong understanding of building practices. Proficiency in using both power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Familiarity with roofing techniques and materials is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing practices is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks undertaken. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 18.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
