Custom Content Creator - Science Writer (Remote)

The UK Head Office is located in Sudbury, Suffolk.


This is a UK-based, hybrid or remote working role.

As a member of our Custom Content team, you'll use your creativity, writing skills, and technical expertise to produce high-quality content for our clients who are leading companies in the scientific industry.



This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a scientific background who wants to establish themselves as a content creation expert within the digital scientific marketing space.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop high-quality custom scientific content across different topic areas and formats (e.g., articles, eBooks, infographics, videos). Write concise, engaging promotional copy for landing pages, email campaigns and social media. Host or participate in video content, including interviews and webinars Provide proofing and editing support for the team. Collaborate with our graphic designers to create visually appealing, scientifically accurate pieces. Communicate effectively with scientists, clients and internal stakeholders.

Required Skills:

Strong scientific writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences. Ability to adapt writing style and tone to suit different clients and content formats. Excellent project and time management skills; able to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills, especially within a remote or hybrid team setup. Ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines. Confident on camera as host, moderator, or interviewer.

Education & Experience:

Degree in biology, chemistry, or a related discipline (a PhD is preferable but not required). Experience writing scientific content. Project management is a benefit.

Bonus Experience (Preferred but not required)

Experience in a client-facing or commercial content creation role. Background in scientific marketing or digital publishing. Familiarity with remote work tools and collaborative content production.
