Customer Acquisition Manager \xe2\x80\x93 EMEA develops effective customer acquisition strategies and plans for our EMEA region focusing on the industrial markets and countries in which we operate. This will include the planning, development and implementation of customer acquisition strategies and programs to deliver the company\xe2\x80\x99s ambitious growth targets.

The role is responsible for recommending the right blend of offline and online marketing activities and investment in EMEA, working closely with the Global Head of Marketing Planning & Development. Also, this role will work closely with the global, regional & country Sales organizations to understand customer acquisition needs, promotional and sales tool priorities.

The role will leverage global marketing assets and best practices, while delivering them in the EMEA region through the network of local marketeers located within the countries within which we operate. Marketeers in UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands report to the Customer Acquisition Manager EMEA, as well as marketeer(s) who coordinate marketing
plans and language localization across all the EMEA countries which also include Spain, Portugal, Italy, Czech and Turkey.

The Customer Acquisition Manager EMEA reports to the Global Head of Customer Acquisition. For both roles, the primary metric of success is new customer acquisition.

Job Requirements

  • Detailed understanding Essentra Components\xe2\x80\x99 EMEA customers, markets and product segments.
  • Accountable for the creation, development and execution of EMEA customer acquisition activities and operational plans, supporting Essentra\xe2\x80\x99s revenue and growth ambitions and supporting the strategic goals.
  • Ensure marketing activity takes account of the \xe2\x80\x98local\xe2\x80\x99 voice and is adapted to ensure the highest possible relevance and response from customers in EMEA.
  • Work with internal teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical execution for email campaigns, microsites, landing pages, and other marketing automation solutions
  • Role model and champion development and application of outstanding B2B marketing capabilities, including use of both digital marketing and non-digital marketing approaches.
  • Accountable for Customer Acquisition budget in EMEA
  • Responsible for critical metrics measuring return on investment of activities and ensuring all activities incorporate continuous improvement to optimise performance in EMEA.
  • Responsible for the deployment of EMEA marketing campaigns through the marketing channels of email and the Essentra Components website. Work with platform vendors such as Dot Digital (ESP) and Magnolia (CMS) to optimise the platforms and the usage of them.
  • Responsible for ensuring the application of Essentra Components brand guidelines across all marketing activity.
  • Build strong external and internal relationships with key partners and participate in customer meetings in EMEA
  • Build strong relationships with external agencies/service providers and internal cross-functional partners, including Sales, IT, Customer Supply Chain, Finance, and HR.
  • Drive continual process improvements in the team and ensure all projects are run efficiently and effectively
  • Management of the EMEA customer acquisition team, leading their growth, development, and transformation to drive a shift to greater customer-centricity, ownership and accountability
Skills / Experience:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Experience leading a regional digital marketing team
  • Extensive experience as a Marketing Communications Manager (or similar), with a strong background in developing and deploying effective and target-group tailored B2B communication strategies and campaigns - both online and offline
  • Extensive experience designing, launching, and measuring digital marketing campaigns that generate, nurture, and convert leads in complex B2B buying cycles.
  • Experience with marketing automation programs
  • An experienced people manager, capable of leading by influence as well as direct authority
  • Operated in a multicultural matrix environment, used to leading direct and indirect teams in a hybrid/remote
working environment * Demonstrates drive and leadership skills to lead organizational transformation and capable of defining a vision for the future of the team
  • Capable of understanding and working with business data, critical metrics and dashboards in order to measure performance
  • Comfortable working in a global environment, supporting various regions and commercial activities
  • Experience handling outside consultants and agencies
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skill
