Job Description

We are manufactures and installers of Quartz, Granite and Corian Kitchen Worktops. Based in Great Baddow, Chelmsford. We are a busy, fast paced office and are looking to expand the office team as below:

Customer Administrator

Full Time (5 days, 9am - 5pm, possibly 8am - 4pm - 1 hour for lunch) (Initially for Maternity Cover (1 year))

We work with both Retail and Commercial clients; this position would be working mainly on the Commercial side of our business. From small developers with single plots to main contractors on projects with multiple plots.

This position has an immediate start.



Responsibilities:



Dealing with emails and telephone calls on a daily basis.

Updating Database with customer details (full training on 'in house database' will be given)

Adding documents to the database, i.e. PO's, job sheets etc

Following process from receipt of order to facilitate the installation of bespoke worktops, ensuring all elements are in place to allow this to occur, ie: passing information onto correct departments.

Dealing with issues that arise on a day-to-day basis as professionally and quickly as possible.

Building relationships with clients to facilitate a closer working relationship

Any other reasonable duties within other areas of the business.

The candidate:



Working knowledge of Microsoft programmes

essential

, especially Excel and Outlook

Excellent telephone manner and good customer service skills

Ability to work as part of a team and a can-do attitude essential along with willingness to learn

Must have excellent attention to detail, high degree of accuracy and problem-solving skills.



Excellent time management and organisation skills required as working to tight deadlines.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to build effective working relationships
