Job Overview


An opportunity has arisen for the role of Customer Experience Administrator to become an integral member of our Customer Experience team on a temporary basis to cover Maternity Leave.

The key role of this position is to be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring every interaction is smooth, professional, and exceeds expectations. You'll support a variety of administrative tasks that contribute to the overall customer journey, helping to streamline processes and improve satisfaction.

Duties



Liaising with customers over the telephone or email to manage their enquiry or order requirements. Set up of new customer accounts. Processing of sales, transfer, call-off, return & uplift orders in timely manner to meet requirements of the external customer, purchasing department, production planning department and logistics. Dealing with all manner of customer enquiries. React quickly and efficiently to resolve customer related problems. Maintenance of accurate stock records for non-standard invoicing customers. To manage the standing order process, ensuring regular order requirements are processed in a timely manner to meet customer, production and logistic requirements. Maintenance of customer cards to ensure information is up to date and accurate. E.g. company name, address, contact numbers, email addresses, customer comment information, delivery instructions, prices etc. Produce invoices and where appropriate credit notes for customer orders and returns. To develop and maintain communications with internal and external customers. To be of general assistance in the smooth running of the office and department processes.

Essential Criteria



Able to communicate effectively over the telephone and face to face with customers and colleagues. Able to demonstrate pro-active customer services. Ability to use Microsoft Office and show enthusiasm to learn in-house software systems. Significant experience in an administrative position. Significant experience dealing with customers. Experience of working as part of a team and in a busy and sometimes demanding environment.

Desirable Criteria



Experience working with Microsoft Navision.
