This role is joining the UK Sales office, situated in central Chester, in a modern, recently renovated premises.
It is a small, friendly team who are extremely supportive of one another.
The role will be fully trained, so there is no expectation re previous experience. It is more important that the person is the right person for the role and for our team, with the same team approach and ethos
You won't realise it, but it is entirely likely that you have eaten products produced by Agristo as we supply large supermarkets and food service companies with a variety of frozen potato products, including a variety of Chips, Hash Browns, Mashed Potato, Roast Potatoes... the list goes on.

The Role
You will represent the voice of the customer internally at Agristo.
You will be the key point of contact for customers, from client onboarding onwards, developing a culture of optimal service levels through the timely, pro-active and thorough handling of all interactions.
You will need to build and nurture a relationship of trust with our customers, knowing them inside and out, anticipating their requirements before they do, providing a seamless customer journey.
The relationships you build and the high service level you ensure, will lend to Agristo's aim to be best in market. You will be focused on UK customers, with daily communications and meetings with both customers and various departments at Agristo (Belgian and Dutch colleagues).
It is a pivotal role in enhancing customer satisfaction, driving retention, and contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Allocated customer accounts - you will be responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience. New customer onboarding, product launches, regular customer account reviews, customer support, resolution of issues etc.
You engage with your customers to understand their needs. With this knowledge, you capture the customer identity internally, aiding other departments in understanding each customer's individual needs. You will proactively take actions to meet and exceed customer demands and expectations.
You will acquire significant knowledge of Agristo's product portfolio, in order to be a trusted advisor for the customer.
Beyond addressing customer queries and solving their issues, you will gain the ability to predict problems that may arise and take action before it impacts the customer.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, most specifically Sales, R&D and Quality, to advocate for the customer and drive product improvements.
You closely follow up customer projects with a focus on product launch deadlines, current product portfolios and compliance with customer policies.
Facilitate and organize factory visits and audits for allocated customer accounts, with the aim of fulfilling an optimal customer experience with Agristo. Requirement for occasional travel to Belgium and the Netherlands (where Agristo Head Office and factories are based).
You will analyse customer purchasing trends, interactions and complaints so you can take action internally when required e.g. uplifts in sales etc.
Process incoming complaints, feedback and problems, escalating them to other internal stakeholders if necessary, with the aim of proposing the most appropriate solution as quickly and correctly as possible.
Person Specification
Strong communication skills, whether it be email, telephone or face to face meetings. You can communicate difficult information, with the best possible outcome. The ability to read people's reactions and change direction in how info is being presented if necessary.
Highly motivated and well organised, displaying a positive mind-set and high energy.
Solution driven and ability to think outside the box. Demonstrate ability to use own initiative and flexible in personal approach.
It is essential that you are able to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple customers.
You remain calm under pressure and project a professional approach. This is a varied role and requires someone who can multitask and run tasks simultaneously. Proactive in your approach and be able to prioritise their own workload.
Close attention to detail.
Administratively strong.
Confident IT skills - ability to use various software platforms. Experience with Salesforce is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
Ambitious, willing to go above and beyond and is driven in achieving company goals and personal objectives.
